Welcoming? Wow, I'd be a little afraid of that totem. Hope there are some real ones left around, too.

Hi Glennis
Nice to see these pics of Langkawi. I have been there some time ago and I do remember the eagle. It's a nice island.

Oh my goodness... look at that eagle.. He's a beauty!!
Was just reading your previous posts also and had an experience with monkeys in Bali... they stole and half ate my camera strap... it was a struggle at first.. me or the camera.. thankfully they only got the strap.. haha
Take care xx Julie

Hello, Thanks so much for stopping by my blog. Wow the eagle is huge, I wonder why they chose an eagle? Whatever the reason it is a beautiful statue.

What a huge bird, Glennis ! I thought I was in Germany or in USA. Our French national symbol is the rooster, not such a glorious and wild animal !

Hi Glennis!
The building you asked for is the Cathedral of Milan, the main city of Northern Italy.

But the picture is a sort of fake, bacause of advertising messages on the front of the church: they are a joke of a frienf, working for a radio.

Hello, Glennis. This is a HUGE eagle; I too wonder why.

Thanks for your comment on my 'setting sun' photo on June 18th 2010. It is the sun, not the moon, though I can see why you confused it.
